With love from Can Curreu

Fabian and Nadia´s wedding was a true love story and friends and family flew in from all over the world to watch them make their commitment to each other. Kind, funny, intelligent and very stylish they knew exactly the kind of celebration they wished to host.

As well as adoring each other, this couple adore Ibiza, to dance and to party and Can Curreu was the perfect choice of venue showcasing the beauty of the island´s architecture, flora and fauna, and having the perfect layout for the flow of the day.

The ceremony was held on a large lawn under the boughs of a hundred year old olive tree, with drinks and canapés served around the pool with views over the surrounding countryside, before moving onto dinner al fresco. The party then continued until late in a purpose built club style area, decorated with lots of moving disco lights and candles.

The next day guests were treated to lunch by the ocean at the beautiful Atzaro beach located at Cala Nova, where stories were exchanged over a glass of Cava Sangria, the waves lapping the shores of the beach below.

Big softie

I never tire of watching our couple´s wedding films....they get me every time as I sit watching these real life love stories, with tears in my eyes and hope in my heart (I am an eternal romantic!). This job can be exhausting and frustrating at times but is also challenging, rewarding and so very varied and every single time I watch the film from the day I am reminded of what a wonderful and privileged position we are in to be organising these celebrations of love on this magical little island we call home. Brett and Alli´s had me from the get go....bravo Garry from Infin 8 Wedding Films xxx

Tagomago dreaming

When Jenny and Philip decided on marrying in Ibiza, there could only be one dream destination for them....the private island of Tagomago, which Jenny´s Father´s home overlooked from Ibiza. On the Eve of the wedding this is where Jenny, Philip and their friends and family from all over the world met, enjoying an informal bbq and cocktails before the main event.

Jenny and Philip are hard working, dynamic, successful people who have since had a beautiful baby boy and now own their own home on the island and they were certainly determined and unfazed by the challenges posed by marrying on an island where everything has to be brought in by boat and where the stunningly blue waters are part of a National Park and strictly protected as such. This was certainly a wedding that kept us very much on our toes!

This was a stylish, intimate wedding with great respect paid to the natural beauty of the island. This was reflected in the decoration and styling of the day from the pampas grasses to the chic and understated floral decorations on the tables.

The ceremony conducted by Jon Michel was just the perfect choice for such a stunning setting and it would be no exaggeration to say that most of the guests had goose bumps watching and partaking in this ceremony as the sun set into the ocean behind them.

Dinner was a multitude of starters, encouraging guests to really get stuck in, share and converse, followed by a blind man´s paella and beef fillet with wasabi puree, a selection of mini desserts and then a huge 1.5m wide strawberry and sponge wedding cake. At midnight a traditional goulash was served (and yes even after that feast this went down a storm); the perfect choice to soak up the plentiful offering of various cocktails and drinks, before guests were whisked off by speed boat back to Ibiza.

A little party never hurt nobody

From the get go, it was clear on talking to Paul and Aelish about their wedding in Ibiza that they wanted a beautiful, magical, unforgettably day to celebrate with close friends and family, with fun pretty high on the agenda. Aelish looked so radiant and stylish in her Suzanne Neville dress and skyscraper high Laboutins, and so youthful!!! Just gorgeous. Her Bridesmaids wore dresses by Kelsey Rose.

Paul didn't let the side down looking pretty dapper in his Reiss suit and wearing a big smile for pretty much the entire day.

Atzaro was the perfect location choice for them as it offered various different looks for the day from the super romantic ceremony area by the long lap pool, to drinks reception around another beautiful pool, before dinner was served under the stars before moving the party area..

This was one of those weddings where the chemistry between the couple and their guests was just perfect...so many genuine moments of laughter and heart felt emotion. It´s at times like these that we are reminded just how lucky we are to be involved in such a precious time in the lives of others. Thank you both Paul and Aelish xx

50 shades of pink

Serious oohing and aaahing pouring over these images this morning from Austin and Annamarie´s intimate and tres chic wedding celebrated at Cotton Lounge in Figueretes....so many gorgeous shades of pink from dusty pinks and nudes, to coral and hot fuchsia. I think the ceremony arch is one of my favourite EVER (!!) and those hours spent with both Annamaria and the florist to get it spot on were so worth it in the end. I also think the mix of different flowers works beautifully and with the sparking Mediterranean in the backdrop and the white and pale pink decor of the venue, the overall result is so pretty, feminine and stylish. Special thanks to our wonderful florists, Ramo de Flores and our amazing decor team, Velvet Circus.
